Paris Saint-Germain head coach Unai Emery and Neymar met before the club`s Champions League tie against Anderlecht to clarify their increasingly public issues.

The 46-year-old Spaniard is known for talking to his players and Neymar is no exception, with the conversation between the two lasting longer than usual and appearing to be constructive.

The meeting alleviated the tension between the two, according to Telefoot.

There had been rumblings of discontent between Neymar and Emery but their relationship appears to be fluid; while Emery is happy with the numbers that Neymar has been putting up since joining PSG, he wants the 25-year-old to further improve in order to become the best in the world, something that will help PSG win both in France and in Europe.

The controversy raised by the alleged objections of the former Barcelona attacker surrounding Emery`s insistence on videos is not true, with no PSG players complaining about them.
