Bayern Munich`s president insists he knows where Alexis Sanchez will be playing next season
That is according to Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge
The Gunners star looks likely to leave North London after rejecting a new deal at the club.
Sanchez`s contract runs out at the end of this campaign, which has put European heavyweights on red alert.
But according to the Bavarian chief, the 29-year-old has already decided his next destination.
"I think Sanchez has already decided which club [to join], so I suppose that the door will be closed in January," Rummenigge told Sky Germany.
"That’s not an issue, and he is no direct substitute for Robert Lewandowski as the is not a real centre forward."
The Bayern chief is likely alluding to Man City, who Sanchez was close to joining in the summer.
It is likely that Pep Guardiola will return with a bid for the star in January, in the hope of getting a cut-price deal for the Chilean.
Alexis Sanchez has made no secret of his desire to leave Arsenal
Sanchez has struggled so far this season, as boss Arsene Wenger seems reluctant to give him as much game time as last season.
The former Barcelona man scored 24 Premier League goals last term but has only scored once this term, late on in Arsenal’s 5-2 victory over Everton.
Sanchez will have the chance to prove himself in front of Guardiola tomorrow, as City welcome Arsenal to the Etihad in the day`s early kick off.
